As I stated before, Colorado employers can still fire recreational pot smokers. Colorado business woman Amy Dannemiller was terminated from her position as an event planner from her company after she was seen using a vaporizer with weed during a CNBC documentary called, “Marijuana in America: Colorado Pot Rush.” Dannemiller told the Cannabist. “I violated the drug policy on national television, and that’s completely reasonable.”
